Our Story

Our story starts with a family struggling to survive in one of the poorer districts of town and the eldest child of that family Filiz, who has become like a mother for this family. Filiz, who has been looking after her five younger siblings ever since their mother has abandoned them, takes care of her family despite their alcoholic father Fikri and she hangs on to life without complaining. Like Filiz, the siblings are strong-willed, eclectic, proud children who have learned to look after themselves without succumbing to despair. Filiz is followed by Rahmet, who is intellectually gifted, his junior Hikmet is already stuck in a difficult love, his junior Kiraz is a conscientious and emotional girl, her junior is Fikret and the youngest one is 1.5 year-old İsmet. Filiz is a young girl who has dedicated all her life to her siblings, her confidant is her best friend and neighbor Tülay. She tries to earn money from daily jobs and deals with a lot more responsibilities than is typical for her age when one day handsome and charismatic Barış enters her life. This mysterious young man turns up out of the blue and does his best to win Filiz's affection and to become a part of the family. Barış falls in love with Filiz at first sight and tries to impress her whereas Filiz thinks that her difficult life has no place for love and she tries to ignore her feelings towards Barış. The police officer Cengiz, who has been in love with Filiz since a long team, and his protective behavior makes the matters even harder for Barış. Furthermore, Barış's hidden identity and mysterious life poses a threat to their relationship. Six siblings try to hang on to each other and find happiness despite their father Fikri, who is only interested in having something to drink and earning easy money, and Barış's love for Filiz sets everybody on different paths.
