An original series exploring some of the most fascinating stories from across modern China - getting to the heart of this remarkable nation for an international audience.

Each 30-minute episode will be dedicated to a different region of China; northeast, northwest, southeast, southwest, east and central, including Beijing. China is a remarkably varied country; high mountains, rich river lands, parched deserts, coastal plains, gleaming modern cities and ancient locations. Each episode will capture the spirit of a region whilst revealing four different stories spanning topics from technology and farming to culture and tourism.

Co-produced by Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation (JSBC) and Lion TV.

The 6-part series will be showcased by three British Mandarin speaking presenters, Jing Lusi, Jason Lai and Cameron Andersen. As they travel across China they will help explain and interpret the amazing stories that they find.
