The Intangible

A young writer and graduate in visual arts, embarks on a journey to the province of Buenos Aires, in search of an artist, painter, sculptor and draftsman, whose name arouses admiration among renowned colleagues and international fame. He intends to write a book about him. The artist, Fernando García Curten, lives with Susana Tosso, a dancer and poet, his longtime wife.

He spends his time secluded, encapsulated in his reflections on the value of art and its usefulness. For years he has declined to exhibit, refuses to sell and resists the policies of the art markets: he prefers to exhibit his immense and original work in his house, which after years of struggle, he partially turns into a museum.
