Time-Out

In 1950 Argentina became champion of the first basketball world championship. Six years later, and in the context of the so-called Liberation Revolution, the first golden generation of Argentine basketball was destroyed. The Argentine Confederation of said sport accused them of professionalism in an amateur sport. Consequently the world champions were suspended for life. His only fault was having received from the hands of Juan Domingo Perón, as the only prize, an authorisation to import a car. Tiempo Muerto is a film about our history, old age and dignity.
